The World Gathering will take place at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, one of the largest single-level convention hotels in the eastern United States. Located near Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, the resort is nestled around a 15-acre lake; in the shadow of a towering Mayan pyramid guests enjoy an archeological dig site and an expansive feature pool.

Stay where the WG lives and take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours benefit! Each day one of the Disney theme parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular closing so guests of Disney resorts can play longer. A room block at the conference rate of $119 S/D per night, plus taxes, has been reserved at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort from Aug. 8 to 14, 2006. Subject to availability, group rates are valid for three days before and three days after the WG. The cut-off date for room reservations at the conference rate is Monday, July 10, 2006. Don't forget to reference "Mensa World Gathering" when making your reservations. Please note that the first night of the reservation will be charged immediately to your credit card. If you need to cancel all or part of your room reservation, be sure to do so at least five days prior to the first day of your reservation, when a full refund can be given.
